STEAM with Mrs. Teall

Hello and welcome to STEAM with Mrs. Teall! I will be teaching the Day 3 and Day 4 STEAM classes this year, and I look forward to partnering with you as your children grow in their curiosity and STEAM-related skills. This is a fun, fast-paced class that really mixes science instruction with the use of relevant technology and necessary engineering skills. Throughout our lessons, we do a lot of sketching and number work, which is where the “A” for art and “M” for math come into play in our name.

I live in Zeeland and am married to my husband, Nick, who is also a teacher. We have three sons ranging in age from 2 to 7 years old. I love to tell my students stories about my kids and relate my parenting experience to my teaching life. Truthfully, nothing made me a more empathetic teacher than becoming a parent!

The HPS Steam teachers have put together a website with useful links arranged by grade level. The students will be familiar with navigating this site and we encourage you to use it at home!

Check it out!  http://hv-steamstudio.us/index.html

If you ever have questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me via email at kteall@hpseagles.net or through the school phone number. Thank you so much for sharing your children with us here at Alward Elementary!
